When will the next Social Media Conference Cymru be held?

Social Media Conference Cymru will return on Wednesday, 30th September 2026 at Holland House in central Cardiff.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the nature of the event, we're not able to offer refunds, but you're more than welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else by letting us know at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Lots of our guests arrive solo. Not everyone wants to network and that's absolutely fine - some people prefer to focus on absorbing and taking notes. There's optional lunchtime activities to keep you busy or you can sit and chill before the afternoon.

Or if you do fancy meeting new people but want a bit of a nudge to get going we can help! At lunchtime we have a networking meetup with little nudges to get you talking while keeping things light.

Is there a dress code?

No dress code. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

In which language will the conference be held?

Most of the conference talks will be held in English. Any sessions held in Welsh will be clearly advertised as such and may provide simultaneous translation equipment.

Will I be able to watch online?

Social Media Conference Cymru is an event to bring people together so the only way to enjoy these sessions currently will be to join us in person.

Is there a discount to stay at the venue?

Ticket holders will receive a code with an exclusive discount for rooms at the conference venue, Holland House Hotel, Cardiff in their confirmation email after purchasing tickets.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, you can split your payments in to 3 with Klarna.

Is there a discount for charities?

Yes, charity tickets are availabel at 20% off the full price. See availability here.

Will there be provision for deaf or hard of hearing attendees?

Yes. We're committed to making the conference accessible, and there will be provision for deaf and hard of hearing attendees - this is likely to be live captioning or a BSL interpreter. We'll confirm the exact provision closer to the event. If you have a specific access requirement, please get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate it.
